2Great Sphinx
he Great Sphinx — this legendary monument that blends the body of a lion, the king of the desert, with the head of a pharaoh. You’ll be amazed by the grandeur of its limestone carving, a powerful depiction of the king’s strength as he guards his royal necropolis. The statue is completely solid, with no chambers inside — only a few passages carved over the centuries by those who believed hidden treasures might lie beneath its mighty form.

3Valley Temple of Khafre
It is the only surviving temple from ancient Egypt that was dedicated entirely to the sacred art of mummification. Known as the Mummification Temple — or the Valley Temple due to its proximity to the Nile Valley — this remarkable structure was built to prepare the body of Pharaoh Khafre before it was transferred to its burial chamber beneath his iconic pyramid. A breathtaking architectural masterpiece standing for more than 4,500 years, it is crafted from colossal blocks of pink granite and limestone, with a stunning alabaster floor that still preserves the aura of ancient rituals.
