Travel with an English- and Italian-speaking driver-guide and sommelier, born and raised in the area, who will share local insights during the journey. After about 1 hour of scenic driving, arrive in Montalcino, crossing the beautiful Val d’Orcia UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit a family-owned, organic Brunello di Montalcino winery for a vineyard walk, a guided tour of the aging cellars, and a wine tasting of selected red wines, including the famous Brunello di Montalcino, with the opportunity to taste extra virgin olive oil. After the winery experience, enjoy free time in the medieval town of Montalcino to explore its historic center, monuments, and local shops at your own pace.
