Val D'Orcia (Pass by)
This private tour it starts directly from your hotel lobby in Montepulciano area, with a fully licensed Mercedes van NCC and english/italian speaking driving-guide/sommelier. Driving west in direction of Montalcino (about 40 minutes drive ) you are going to be in the scenic Val d’Orcia, Unesco site, looking at some of the most incredibile Tuscan landscapes. Until you get at a family owned Brunello di Montalcino winery for a vineyard walk, winecellar tour, wine tasting of at least 3 different red wines. After a lovely free walk in the medieval village of Montalcino, the main town of the Brunello area, we head to the second winery. Still small sized and family owned you are going to have here a winecellar tour, lovely Tuscan lunch based on fresh made pasta, cured meat, pecorino cheese, bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil and dessert (vegetarian and gluten free meal available on request) paired with their Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. After lunch a smooth drive back to your hotel.
