Meet your guide in your hotel lobby, then take the metro together to a scenic lakeside park in the old Liwan area. Here, locals gather every day for tai chi, calligraphy writing with water, and perform Cantonese opera (a intangible cultural heritage). You will also visit a local museum showcasing the history and daily life of the neighborhood. Afterwards, walk along Enning Road, lined with Qilou (traditional arcade buildings), it reflects a unique Lingnan style designed for shade and shelter from the rain. Your guide will share how this architecture shaped daily life in old Xiguan.

2Yong Qing Fang
From the 18th to the mid 19th century,it is the only place where foreign traders were permitted to set up their warehouse and factories—a reminder of Guangzhou’s colonial history. Now it is connected to the rest of th city by a series of bridges.The park area along the river is a great place for sightseeing.

4Shamian Island

As you walk through its quiet avenues, your guide will share stories about Guangzhou's international past and how East and West once coexisted along the Pearl River. From the waterfront, enjoy beautiful views across the Pearl River, where the historic surroundings contrast with the city's modern skyline. The tour ends here. You may choose to continue walking along the Pearl River at your own pace. Your guide will be happy to recommend nearby restaurants or help you take the metro back to your hotel.

5Tianzi Wharf
If "Pearl River Cruise" option is selected, after the heritage city walk, step aboard a comfortable cruise and glide along the Pearl River as the city lights come alive. The river reflects the city's transformation from historic streets to a modern metropolis, creating a striking contrast between old and new Guangzhou at night.
