On the second day, our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo for an amazing day trip to Alexandria.
First, visit Pompey’s Pillar, a monument erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century.
Then, explore the Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria,
and then proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient pharaohs' lighthouse of Alexandria.
Your exploration continues with a visit to the Great Library of Alexandria.
Finally, you will be driven back to Cairo airport to take your flight back to Luxor, where our representative will escort you back to your hotel.
