This course is designed to give you the necessary skills to conduct open water dives and the key to explore most dive destinations and discover the wonders of the underwater world!

SDI is a high reputed dive agency around the world with quality scuba training programs ruled by the World Recreational Scuba Training Council (RSTC).

IMPORTANT: - People with asthma, heart or brain problems, high blood pressure, lung lesions, diabetes, epilepsy, or surgeries less than 1 year are not allowed to dive unless you bring a medical authorization signed by your physician who specializes in your disease.
- Keep in mind you need to rest between 18 - 24 hours after diving before take an airplane.
- Consider for this activity you need to perform scuba skills in the water if you are not able to do it, you can not dive for safety reasons, there is not refund back for these reasons, as the service is provided

When you arrive at Sotavento hotel just ask for scuba diving, we will be waiting for you by the pool area of the hotel. (Reference: Sotavento hotel is behind Calypso hotel)

What to expect

3 days activity

We will contact you back to give you the codes to study all the E-Learning online and do the exam in advance, all the theory and exam is online, then you will come for pool training and dives

1st day: From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You will do pool skill practice in the morning (half day)

2nd day: From 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You will do 2 dives, 1 dive at MUSA Underwater Museum and second dive in a reef.

3rd day: From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will do 2 more reef dives in the afternoon with some more practice skills in the ocean, after this you will be certified Open Water Diver.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- People with asthma, heart or brain problems, high blood pressure, lung lesions, diabetes, epilepsy, or any surgery less than 1 year are not allowed to dive.
- Keep in mind you need to rest 24 hours after diving before taking an airplane.
- Bring ID, towels, swimsuits and/or any other thing for your personal care that you think you are going to use.
- Sunscreen/sunblock are not allowed for coral protection.
- As the activity is from a boat, we suggest take anti-nausea pills, 1 or 2 hours before getting on the boat for best effects.
