Puseh Batuan temple is a local landmark in the namesake village of Batuan which famous for its traditional Balinese style paintings. These temple built in the year of 1020 and now referred to locally as community temple. Our guide will accompany you to see all sections of the temples and will explain each shrines you see.
Tegenungan waterfall is a great attraction for all ages specially nature lover. To access the waterfall , there are several minutes walk down the trail beyond the shop where you’ll enjoy the impressively green valley panorama with the cascading water as a centerpiece. Feel free get close and swimming at the waterfall and take beautiful pictures at some cute photo spots provided along the trail .
You will see a very active tranquil temple built around a bubbling spring water. Tirta Empul temple is an interesting place to observe Hindu devotees purifying themselves by means of ritual bathing. The spring feeds various purification baths, pools and fish ponds surrounding the outer perimeter, which all flow to the Pakerisan River. You can try out the purification bathing ritual yourself but the formal routine is actually meant for pilgrims and devotees. You can see an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas. The captivating mount Batur surrounds the 13-sq-km Batur caldera lake. Those with a penchant for adventure can take a winding road down to the lakeshore. This leads you to Toya Bungkah, Ulun Danu Batur temple, and a collection of hot springs. If you a photographer enthusiast, Panelokan village is a popular stopover. It serves as a vantage point at the southernmost part of the crater rim. From here, you can enjoy the sweeping views over the magnificent Bali volcano.
With a dramatic rice terraces view within easy reach, you can try Tegalalang rice terrace for a fantastic Bali photo opportunity. The vista sprawls down and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. It’s a very popular view, but this ancient valley has a timeless quality whether there are tourists there or not. Local elders who own and cultivate the land often invite visitors to sample their green coconut drinks, as well as to purchase woven hats that they make from coconut leaves. Some will even pose with you for photos (usually for a small fee).
You can see the most exotic beach in Nusa Dua area, a tourist attraction that offers you relaxed and clean environment. Mengiat beach is a perfect beach to come to with children as it has beautiful white sand and the beach is protected by an offshore reef, which prevents waves from breaking on the beach.
You will see a clean long stretch of white sand beach with beautiful formation of limestone cliff. During low tides, you can walk out to see and touch the soft corals with many starfish living among them. The water is crystal clear, and lush green seaweeds are at their natural state. There are several beach clubs nearby with pool and good selections of food and drinks. The sunset view from this beach is beautiful.
