See one of Egypt's most famous nature reserves — without the cost of a boat trip. This land tour from Sharm El Sheikh explores Ras Mohammed National Park, where desert mountains meet the Red Sea.
Your day starts with free hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle, plus a quick stop to rent snorkeling gear (or bring your own). Enjoy a panoramic photo stop over the Gulf of Aqaba, then visit the iconic Allah Gate, the park's official entrance.
Inside the reserve, explore the mangrove forest, where trees grow from the salty Red Sea water, and see the ancient Earthquake Crack. Then swim in the famous Magic Lake, known for its high salinity and local legends, before snorkeling from the shore over coral gardens full of colorful fish.
You'll be back at your hotel by early afternoon. Iconic viewpoints, Magic Lake, mangroves, and reef snorkeling — the easiest way to see Ras Mohammed National Park in one half-day tour.

    Ras Mohammed National Park

This was the first national park in Egypt. On land, the park protects a small mangrove forest at the end of the peninsula. Further inland, the landscapes include mountains, sand dunes, wadis, and coastal mud plains. The Red Sea Reef and surrounding reef areas include both fringing and hermatypic type reefs. There are over 220 species of corals accompanied by over 1,000 species of fish, 40 species of starfish, 150 species of crustaceans, and 25 species of sea urchins. The green turtle and the hawksbill turtle are two of the sea turtles which can be found swimming amongst the reefs fairly regularly.
