In the morning, our driver will pick you up from your Guilin hotel. They’ll take you straight to the dock in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle, which takes 1 hour to get to the dock.
The driver will redeem the physical ticket for you at the dock. Once you get on the cruise boat, get ready for something amazing. The Li River will look like a real-life Chinese painting.
Watch local fishermen on bamboo rafts, calling their big black cormorant birds to catch fish—it’s a super old way of fishing, and you’ll see it up close.
In the afternoon, the boat arrives in Yangshuo. Here, you can walk around West Street—lanterns hang above shops selling pretty silk things and painted fans. Or rent a bike to ride through rice fields, and maybe even talk to farmers working there.

Your hotel should be located in the main street of Guilin, like the middle ring of Zhongshan Zhong Road, the south ring of Zhongshan Nan Road, the North ring of Zhongshan Bei Road, and the Sanlidian Area.
