Based on the book, "Pizza City USA," this tour features three different styles of pizza in less than 3 hours. You'll meet some of the pizza makers behind the pies, learn about Chicago pizza history (and the greater city at large) plus discover a pair of places few locals even know about. You'll be sampling deep-dish, artisan and Neapolitan-style pizzas on this tour. (Masks required)

What to expect

We'll start at Robert's Pizza & Dough Co (tell host/hostess you are there for pizza tour). for a hidden gem of an artisan pie, then walk to Labriola for one of the city's best deep-pan pizzas (that most tourists and locals don't even know about). Your doughcent will talk about the history of this dish, then we'll move on to our final stop - a substantially crisp, Chicago thin (aka "Tavern style") pizza at Zarella. PLEASE LET US KNOW AT TIME OF BOOKING IF YOU EAT SAUSAGE, BEEF OR ARE VEGETARIAN.
