Embark on a day trip from Nairobi to the Rift Valley region. Start your journey with a scenic drive along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway, stopping at the Mahi Maiu escarpment for breathtaking views of the Rift Valley. Continue to Lake Naivasha, where you'll take a 40-minute boat ride. Spot animals like waterbucks and hippos, and admire various bird species, including fish eagles, pelicans, great cormorants, and marabou storks. Next, head to Crescent Island for a guided walking tour. Get up close to giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, warthogs, and more in their natural habitat. After the tour, you will visit a local restaurant for lunch at your own expense.
