What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick-up is available from all hotels and guesthouses within Entebbe town, as well as from Entebbe International Airport for travelers arriving on morning flights. Please provide your hotel name, flight details, or preferred pick-up location when booking to help us arrange your transfer smoothly.
If you’re staying in Kampala, pick-up can be arranged at an additional cost, with departure typically between 6:00 AM – 6:30 AM to allow enough time for the birding session.
Our guide/driver will meet you at your location, holding a sign with your name and the Outback Adventure Safaris logo for easy identification.
What to expect
With your binoculars in hand, you’ll search for a variety of colorful birds such as the Great Blue Turaco, African Fish Eagle, Malachite Kingfisher, and several sunbirds, weavers, and parrots. Your guide will help identify calls and behaviors while sharing fascinating facts about each species and their environment.
You’ll also enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the gardens, spot monkeys and butterflies, and take in scenic views of Lake Victoria. Midway through, you’ll have time to relax under the shade or enjoy a picnic-style lunch by the lakeshore before wrapping up your tour.
Finally, your driver will take you back to your hotel or to Entebbe Airport, ending your one-day birding adventure filled with great sightings, photographs, and memories.
