This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Join Mahnaz in her home kitchen for a hands-on Persian cooking class. This is a 1.5 hour hands-on cooking experience, where Mahnaz guides you through crafting two dishes of your choice from the menu. A few dishes you might try at Mahnaz’s table are fesenjan, a delectable stew featuring ground walnuts, pomegranate paste, and poultry, which is served with a Persian-style rice dish, with the coveted tahdig or zereshk polo ba morgh, a barberry rice with chicken, accompanied by pistachios and almonds, kashk-e-bademjan, eggplant dip paired with traditional flatbread and a refreshing shirazi salad with Persian cucumber, tomato, finely diced and mixed with fresh herbs like mint and parsley, dressed with olive oil, lime or lemon juice.
