What to expect

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in traditional Greek culture and cuisine with a local professional chef. Your warm and welcoming host is not only an expert in Greek cooking, but also genuinely enjoys meeting new people and sharing culinary knowledge.

Your experience begins with a brief tour of the on-site gardens, where you'll see firsthand the fresh ingredients that bring Greek cuisine to life—from juicy tomatoes to crisp cucumbers. Then head to a modern cooking studio for a hands-on, farm-to-table cooking class using freshly harvested vegetables, aromatic herbs, and locally sourced ingredients.

Under the guidance of your chef, you’ll learn to prepare traditional Santorinian dishes such as fava, tomato fritters, and pork fillets in a Vinsanto wine sauce. Vegetarian? You may instead prepare a local pasta with homemade tomato paste and garlic.

The cooking class lasts ~1.5 hours, followed by a delicious meal of the dishes you helped create, enjoyed in a lovely restaurant setting - indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Your meal will be perfectly paired with volcanic wines from the renowned Artemis Karamolegos Winery and will finish on a sweet note with dessert.
