Experience the flavors, history, and culture of Egypt on this immersive 3-hour Cairo food tour with Somaya. Begin at Abu Tarek, renowned for koshary, Egypt’s national dish. Then stroll through historic downtown Cairo as Somaya shares stories about the city’s architecture, culture, and everyday life. Along the way, enjoy locally made fruit ice cream in seasonal flavors such as mango and strawberry. Next, take a short taxi ride to the Nile River and board a traditional felucca for a relaxing 30–60 minute sail. As you cruise the Nile, take in notable landmarks while Somaya shares local stories and insights. Sample traditional Egyptian desserts along the way, including kahk (powdered sugar cookies), oras bel agwa (date-filled pastries), and local biscuits.
