The spectacular Huangshan(Yellow mountain) is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. If you're photographer, this is a perfect tour for you. Surround huangshan region there are lots of ancient village still exist. Hongcun village which is the longest history can reach to 800 years ago and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  You will visit it and stay one night there.

    Shanghai - Huangshan (D)

    Shanghai Railway Station

    Explore Huangshan and an Ancient Villages in 3 days by the most efficient route. You will take bullet train at 8:05am from Shanghai to Huangshan for 3 hours in the morning. Once you arrived Huangshan Station, the local guide will take you to the mountain.

    You will spend full day in the mountain. Take the cable car to get on the peak and during the time  you will Admire Huangsha’s unusual rock formations, diverse vegetation including particular pines and sea of clouds as well as the hidden beauty of the mountain. Some trees are more than 200 years old. The famous award movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” was shooting here. In addition, you will have chance to see the bamboo sea and other place you might recognize it from the movie. You will stay overnight in the peak and keep your energy for next morning sunrise.

    Huangshan - Hongcun Village (B, L，D)

    Get up in the dawn to see the sunrise before having your breakfast. Refreshing Terrace is a recommended spot. Then, continue to see more Mt Huangshan wonders, Lion Peak, Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and all shapes of pines along the route. If you like to hike, West Sea Grand Canyon is an exciting route in Huangshan area.

    After lunch head up to Hongcun Village in the late afternoon. It is a charming ancient village with a history of over 800 years. And the one is also be list in UNESCO heritage site. The village will show you the original Hui style architecture. You will have your free time in Hongcun Village. Get some local handcraft as souvenir and try local food as dinner. Tonight you will stay overnight in Hongcun, where you can admire the starlit sky and the glowing red lanterns in perfect harmony.

    Tunxi-Shanghai (B,L)

    Tunxi Ancient Street

    You will visit Tunxi Old Street. It's all South Song and Ming dynasty style architectures with 300 years history. Here is the perfect place that you can find some authanic snack and buy some gifts for friends and family. After lunch, we will take bullet train back to Shanghai in the afternoon. Departure at 16:30 in Huangshan and arrived in Hongqiao station at 19:00.Once you arrive at the Shanghai station, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall to return you back to your hotel in Shanghai.
