We meet at the harbor next to the Statue of Tordenskjold. From there we can see and talk about Tjuvholmen with the Astrup Faernly museum and Aker Brygge with the Nobel Peace Center and the National Museum of art and design, in addition to the city hall and the fortress if wanted. For even better views, it is possible to stand next to the statue of Franklin Roosevelt.

We recommend stopping at the end of Rådhusgata next to the fjord (more or less where KOK Oslo Sauna is), because from here we can see and talk about the newest part of Oslo, Bjørvika, having a perfect view of the Opera, the sculpture “She lies”, and the Munch Museum. From here we walk through Bjørvika, where we can talk a bit about the newest library, Deichman Bjørvika.

We cross the Akrobaten bridge where we can see and talk about both the bridge and Barcode.

We take the path by the river starting at Vaterland. We can talk about how the river area, Grünerløkka, has changed from an industrial one to a very cultural/hipster one full of vintage stores, art galleries, street art, etc. Next to the river we can find Norway's leading cultural church that hosts theatre performances, art exhibitions, concerts and special events.
