Very important note: Peleș Castle is closed on Monday and Tuesday, however, if you want to take this tour on Monday or Tuesday, we can visit the gardens of Peleș Castle free of charge. Also, please make sure that for any other day of the week it is your responsibility to buy online tickets for Peleș Castle for the 9:15-11:00 time frame as soon as they become available, usually about 3-4 weeks before the tour. If they are not available anymore for the 9:15-11:00 time frame, then you must buy them for the 14:30-16:00 time frame!

1Peles Castle
We visit Peles Castle from Sinaia, considered the most beautiful castle in Romania. The former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family, built 1875-1883, finalized 1914. We will also visit the gardens of Peles Castle and we will take a look at Pelisor Castle nearby. We can have a quick coffee/tea stop at a very charming terrace in the area, with a great view towards Peles Castle!

2Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)
Bran Castle - a national monument and landmark in Romania. The fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. Commonly known as "Dracula's Castle". Built late 1300s. We will discuss about the actual history of the place, about the myths, too. OR: Prejmer Fortress instead of Bran Castle - much larger, more interesting, no big crowds, no traffic jams, entrance fee 25% of the price of the entrance at Bran Castle, authentic souvenirs, etc. Prejmer Fortress is the largest and best preserved Medieval Fortress in Eastern Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We can discuss prior to the tour or during the tour if we visit Bran Castle (West of Brasov) or Prejmer Fortress (East of Brasov), as usually there is no time during a one day tour to cover both of them plus Sinaia and Brasov.

3Brasov Historical Center
The Old City Council Square of Brasov, the Black Church, the Rope Street (the narrowest street in Romania). The Black Church is the largest church in Eastern Europe.
