  11:00 You will be picked-up from your hotel in Kandy by tuk-tuk and then moved to do the sightseeing tour in Kandy. 11:30 Firstly, you will be taken to visit the Kandy temple. Pay your respect to ‘Dalada Maligawa’ or the ‘Palace of the sacred tooth relic’ where the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined. You will visit the audience hall – which blazon the unique Kandyan architecture; Mahawahalkada – moonstone - guardian stones, which is carved in Kandyan architectural style; Royal Palace and an archeological museum during your exploration.   Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya

  12:30 Leave Kandy temple and the ride to visit Bahirawakanda temple. Bahirawakanda temple is another hidden treasure in Kandy. A large seated buddha status is enshrined here which is visible from almost anywhere in the city of Kandy. Once you reached the top, you will see the incredible views of the Kandy town.

  Royal Botanical Gardens

  14:30 Continue your Tuk ride to visit flourishing Royal Botanical garden in Peradeniya. This garden is renowned for bundles of varieties of plants including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. A map is not required, just wander through the paths of green lawns while your local guide giving you an introduction about tropical flora and fauna here. You will witness the flower arches which are waiting to welcome you! Don’t by-pass the giant Javan tree, which is a nice place to have a sit & take a snap! The suspension bridge is also a highlight in this garden & you can walk on it too.

  Kandy Market Hall

  16:45 After shopping for sometime, you will witness an unforgettable show of Traditional Kandyan Dance. Kandy cultural show will captivate your ears and eyes with spectacular displays of local culture and art. You will see drummers, fire dancers, and more in a cultural spectacle covering various aspects of Sri Lanka’s traditions in this one-hour show. 18:00 Now having gotten about the rich history of Kandyan Kingdom, you will be moved back to your hotel.
