Begin with the Nizam’s Study and Windsor-inspired Library holding 6,000 rare books, including Titanic editions. Ascend grand marble staircases past Carrera lamps, fountains, and regal portraits. The Jade Room, glowing with Bohemian chandeliers and parquet floors, recalls Versailles. The Begum’s chambers whisper courtly secrets, while the Durbar Hall dazzles with Venetian chandeliers, silk, and an original Burroughs & Watts billiards table. The Hukka Lounge, once praised by Ottoman envoys, echoes politics and poetry. The highlight: the 33m teak and rosewood dining table seating 101, where the Prince of Wales dined in 1906.
