Wake up in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, surrounded by the symphonic harmony of wildlife. Our 10 comfortable private rooms have a bathroom with shower, windows and doors protected with mosquito nets, balcony with hammocks to relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the Amazon landscapes. The Bungalows have 24-hour electricity, purified water, a fan and high-speed WiFi, that is, a Hotel but inside the Iquitos jungle.
Our private speedboat leaves from Iquitos dock at 9:30 AM. Hence, traveler must arrive in Iquitos a day before or on the starting date before 9 AM. No public transportation available from Iquitos to our lodge. On the last day, our speedboat arrives in Iquitos around 4 PM, hence your flight out must departure after 6 PM. If your flights itinerary does not match, please contact us, in most cases we are able to adapt our speedboat timetables.
9:15 a.m. Reception at the Airport or Hotel in Iquitos, we will take you to our office to complete all the details of your excursion. Transfer by land (road) and speedboat (navigating the Amazon River) This is a 3-hour trip to our jungle Lodge. Welcome drink of local fruits and distribution in your private Bungalow (a jungle ensuite room). 1:00 p.m. Lunch time. First contact with the wild jungle with a walk of 2-3 hours learming about medicine plants special trees like rubber tree and searching wild animals, like monkies, sloths, birds and others. 7:00 p.m. Dinner time. Night excursion by boat searching caymans, snakes and nocturnal birds, frogs, tarantulas, capybaras biggest rodent in the world, anacondas and others.
6:00 a.m. Early morning wild exploration by boat, jungle walk, fishing of piranhas, oscar fish, sardins, catfish and others (optional for bird watchhing) this activity includes breakfast on board in order to gain time exploring 5-6 hours all morning. 1:00 p.m. Lunch time. Excursion by boat exploring lakes observation of giant lily pads (victoria amazonica) and dolphins (pinks and grays) optional swimming with them, and the opportunity to observe the beautiful Amazon Sunset. 7:00 p.m. Dinner time. Jungle walk for searching nocturnal wild animals like tarantulas, spiders, cane toads, smoky jungle frog, snakes, rodents, monkeys and others.
8:00 a.m. Breakfast time. Boat exploration and jungle walk for searching the prehistric hoatzin birds, monkeys and other species. Visit the village San Juan or Ayacucho and have the opportunity to buy handcrafts. 1:00 p.m. Lunch time. 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. Departure to Iquitos. 4:00 p.m. Is the estimate arrival time in iquitos, transfer to the airport or hotel.
