The Castle Side Food Tour: Hidden Flavors & Scenic Views

3 hours to 3 hours 20 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

Explore the authentic flavors of Prague’s historic west side with a small-group food tour near Prague Castle. Unlike most tours, this experience takes you through Hradčany (The Castle District) and Malá Strana (The Little Quarter) — charming neighborhoods filled with small, locally-owned spots that have held their ground despite the tourist boom.

Led by a passionate local guide, this tour offers more than just tastings. As you walk downhill through cobbled lanes and courtyards, you’ll hear stories of the businesses you visit — and learn how Czech cuisine developed through centuries of rural tradition, Austro-Hungarian influence, and local creativity.

Taste a variety of Czech favorites: beer snacks and appetizers, local street food, sweet treats from a student-favorite café, countryside-style dishes. Vegetarian options are available.

Enjoy culture, flavor, and views — all in one authentic Prague experience.
