The Alcantara Gorges are a remarkable geological formation located in eastern Sicily, Italy. They are a series of basaltic rock canyons carved by the Alcantara River over thousands of years. The gorges are situated between the towns of Castiglione di Sicilia and Motta Camastra, about 20 kilometers from Taormina. The stunning rock formations within the gorges are the result of ancient volcanic activity. The basalt columns and walls showcase unique geometric patterns formed by the cooling and solidification of lava flows from nearby Mount Etna. Over time, the Alcantara River has eroded the basalt, creating deep canyons with crystal-clear waters.

Visit is from outside. Taormina's most famous landmark is the Greek Theater, built in the 3rd century BC. It was built under Hieron II of Syracuse. Completely rebuilt with all the features of a Roman theater under Roman rule in the 2nd century BC. The Greco Theatre of Ancient Rome is one of the most representative structures in the city. Built in the 3rd century BC, it has been continuously used for over 2000 years and contains many different styles. It encompasses a theater-an amphitheater with a cavea (seating) for about 6,000 spectators and an opus reticulatum (roof) that rests on 14 columns. The visit will be from the outside.

Piazza IX Aprile is a small square in the old town of Florence, Italy. It is one of the most popular places for visitors to take photos and enjoy the beautiful architecture. The small square was originally named Piazza del Campo because it was where people once gathered to watch horse races. The name changed in 1732 after a fire destroyed most of the buildings around it and only a few remained. Piazza IX Aprile is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit while they are visiting Italy. The small square has a lot of history and culture which makes it an attractive place for tourists to visit.

It has been restored to its original splendor, with a capacity of over 4,000 spectators. A unique, superbly preserved theatre from the ancient world.
