A short climb to the top of a gorgeous waterfall. It is possible to have a swim here if the weather is good, however please be aware that the water can be very cold and it will the water level can be increased suddenly.
Seetha Amman Temple, or Seetha Eliya Seethai Amman Thirukkovil, also known as Ashok Vatika Sita Temple, is an ancient Vaishnavite Hindu temple located in the Nuwara Eliya District of Central Sri Lanka. The temple's folklore is deeply connected to the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.
The post office is housed within a beautiful Tudor mansion; complete with spires and a clock tower. The bright orange roofs and red bricked walls of the sprawling building form a colorful contrast with the manicured lawns and perfectly pruned hedges. Constructed in 1894 for the sole purpose of dealing with the mail of the British Colonials at the time; this century-old post office is one of the oldest in the country, whilst also being one of the oldest buildings in Nuwara Eliya.
End the tour either with an optional drop at the Gregory Lake or back to your hotel. The drive from the waterfall back to the city/Gregory Lake would take around 40 minutes..
The bridge, also called the "Bridge in the Sky," spans 91 meters in length and 24–30 meters in height, featuring nine elegant arches built without steel support. Constructed between 1919–1921 during British colonial rule, local engineers completed it using stone and cement when steel supplies were diverted for World War I. Elephants transported materials across the hilly terrain, and skilled craftsmen shaped the stones. . The Nine Arch Bridge is located between Ella and Demodara railway stations, surrounded by lush tea plantations and forests, making it one of Sri Lanka's most photographed landmarks
