Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park You’ll be picked up in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park, world-famous for its stunning scenery and unbeatable views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the open plains. Arrive at AA Amboseli Lodge in time for lunch and a brief rest before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Keep your camera ready for elephants, lions, and graceful giraffes wandering beneath the mountain. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness.

Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, famous for its vast herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Enjoy your packed lunch in one of the designated picnic spots within the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature and stunning landscapes. Continue with an afternoon game drive before returning to AA Lodge Amboseli for dinner and an overnight stay.

Observation Hill
Climb the short trail up Observation Hill for panoramic views of Amboseli’s plains, lakes, and herds of elephants below. It’s the best viewpoint in the park and a favorite spot for photos of Mount Kilimanjaro when the skies are clear.

After an early breakfast, enjoy one last chance to see the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro as you set out on a short morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. Watch for elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, and other wildlife as the sun rises over the plains. Later, leave the park and begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi, with a picnic lunch served en route. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel or directly to the airport for your flight home.
