    Upon arrival into Lima, you will be welcomed to Peru by your driver and an English-speaking representative to be transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to spend at leisure.

    Lima to Cusco

    Cusco

    Your driver will take you to the Lima Airport for your one-hour flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can discover Cusco and wander through its streets, gazing at the Incan and colonial architecture. You can visit several museums or shop at the various souvenirs, clothing and art stores and markets. You can also taste the cuisine and coffee in one of the numerous chic Peruvian café's or restaurants.

    Cusco City Walking Tour

    Plaza de Armas

    Cusco’s main square – Plaza de Armas – is a busy and vibrant space that marks the colonial centre of the city. The plaza, which features wide stone pathways and well-kept colourful gardens, is home to two iconic buildings: the Cusco Cathedral and the Church La Compañía de Jesús.Cusco’s Plaza de Armas covers part of the area that was once the Haukaypata – The Great Inca Square. Today however, Spanish colonial buildings and long stone arcades dominate the architecture of the plaza, but many of the precisely carved Inca walls remain as foundations. The plaza is where many of the city’s most important gatherings, events and festivals take place, including Inti Raymi – the Inca Festival of the Sun and the religious festival of Corpus Christi. The plaza is always bustling with activity whatever time of the day (or night), and is great place to soak up the laid back atmosphere of this Andean city.

    You will visit the different sections of this old market such us fruit section, artisan section, and more. Learn about the local variety of products and ingredients. Then, head back to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

    Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo and Train to Machu Picchu

    Moray

    Visit Maras and see its traditional streets. Admire the culture and people wearing traditional clothing. Then, see the circular terraces of Moray and enjoy a delicious lunch in a local house

    Salinas de Maras

    After Moray, we will head to the Salt Terraces of Maras and learn about an ancient pre-Incan method of producing salt. After that, you will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo.

    Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo

    You will visit the impressive Ollantaytambo ruins, temples and terraces.You will even enter an original house to observe the building and see how people used to live. After your Sacred Valley tour, you'll be taken to the Ollantaytambo train station to take the 1.5-hour train journey to Aguas Calientes.

    Machu Picchu and Back to Cusco

    Machu Picchu

    Visit the magnificent site of Machu Picchu and enjoy a 2-hour tour visiting the truly exceptional Temples of the Sun and the Condor. See the aqueducts and houses, and learn about the Incan Sacred Terraces. You then have time to explore the site on your own. You can do the trek to the Sun Gate for an impressive view overlooking Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu or a visit to the Incan Bridge. In the afternoon, you will return to Aguas Calientes to take the train to Cusco. There, you will be transferred to your hotel.

    Cusco to Puerto Maldonado

    Puerto Maldonado

    In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Cusco Airport in time for your hour domestic flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon your arrival at the airport, your representative will take you to the river port. You will board a private boat and take a river journey to the Lodge. You will have a great experience taking part in the Trail System Adventure, which will allow you to discover the incredible realm of the Amazon forest. You will see exotic rainforest trees, birds and insects. You will then return to the lodge to relax and enjoy lunch. During the afternoon, you will be treated to a private Twilight River Boat Ride where you will witness the enchanting transformation of the Amazon jungle from day to night and the new creatures that emerge from the darkness. You will explore the river and search for nighttime species, such as nightjars, owls, capybaras and caimans. You will then return to your lodge. (Program is subject to change due to availability)

    Lost Cocha and Monkey Island

    Tambopata National Reserve

    After breakfast, we will start an adventure in the virgin rainforest, and accompanied by a local guide, we´ll go on a hike in the deep jungle, to get to the Lost Cocha which constitutes a refuge and feeding ecosystem for a huge variety of animals. This area is unique and proper to the Ecoamazonia´s Ecological Reserve which maintains it intact, with huge swamps and diverse “aguajales”. Then, we´ll get to the extraordinary Observation Deck, from which we´ll be able to appreciate the immense and magical rainforest. Afterwards, we´ll have a pleasant canoe ride around the lake and will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, a unique place in the heart of Madre de Dios River, five minutes away from the Lodge. During the hike, we will observe extraordinary landscapes, with an exuberant flora, sheltering a variety of monkey species.

    Puerto Maldonado to Lima

    Today, after you enjoyed your breakfast, we will take you to the Puerto Maldonado Airport in time for your one hour domestic flight to Lima. You will arrive to Lima in time for your international flight home. (Program is subject to change due to availability)
