Enjoy a folkloric marinera performance featuring Peruvian Paso horses. We'll be delighted by the magnificent trot of these horses and the elegant steps of the northern marinera.

    Itinerary The tour begins at 2:00 PM. We will meet at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo to head to Casa Campo Alcor, a center dedicated to the breeding and care of Peruvian Paso horses. Peruvian Paso horses are characterized by their unique sideways gait, known as "paso llano." We will have the opportunity to watch a demonstration with these horses ridden by their "chalanes," as the Paso horse riders are called, while enjoying the majesty and harmony of their gait. We will also have the opportunity to see a Marinera performance, the national dance of Peru, declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation. The Marinera with Peruvian Paso horses is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Trujillo and this region of the country. It is performed by couples and accompanied by music, while the dancers and riders dressed in traditional costumes display their graceful and elegant movements.

    After the performance, which will last between 30 and 45 minutes, we will return to Trujillo and say goodbye at 4:00 PM at the same starting point.
