After the park, you visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a respected elephant rescue center where orphaned elephants are raised and slowly prepared for release back into the wild. This gives you a rare opportunity to learn about conservation efforts directly from the source. You then enjoy a relaxed break at a local restaurant before heading to the Giraffe Center, where you can feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from a raised platform. What to expect
After exploring the park, you’ll head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where orphaned elephants are rescued, cared for, and gradually prepared for release back into the wild. Here, you’ll learn about the challenges elephants face, how each calf is raised, and the conservation work the trust has carried out for decades.
Your guide will then take you to a local restaurant for coffee or lunch, where you can also browse galleries and look at souvenirs.
The final stop is the Giraffe Center, where you can feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes before returning to your hotel.
