This is not a standard walking tour. It’s a carefully designed four-hour cultural immersion into Amsterdam — combining iconic neighbourhoods, structured history, and two curated local encounters.
You’ll explore the Jordaan, the UNESCO-listed canal belt, and the Old City Centre while learning how trade, migration, and pragmatism shaped the city. Along the way, you’ll sit down twice with real Amsterdammers whose lives reflect topics like the city is famous for. Think the bicycle culture, the Red Light District, entrepreneurship, living on water, coffee shop culture and more.
Halfway through, enjoy warm Dutch apple pie and a drink in a traditional brown café.
Limited to max 8 guests, this experience is designed as the most complete first introduction to Amsterdam — giving you context, connection, and a deeper understanding of the city.
The meeting point is just a 1-minute walk from the Anne Frank house. The tram stop's name is "Westermarkt". The Homomonument is a big, pink granite triangle coming out of the ground that you can sit on. Your guide will be waiting there with a red lollipop sign saying "Who Is Amsterdam"
We'll end our experience at a very special microbrewery in the heart of the Red Light District, just 5 minutes away from Amsterdam Central Station.
