Begin with a walk through the landscaped gardens before entering the Grand Hall to admire the museum’s impressive architecture. Highlights include the Hanging Obelisk, the colossal statue of Ramses II, and the Grand Staircase, leading to 12 exhibition halls covering Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era.

2Pyramids of Giza
Then continue to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy a panoramic view of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, with plenty of opportunities for memorable photos. Visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Chephren, where the king’s body was ritually purified and prepared during the mummification process before burial.
