    City Guardian Temple consecrates historical giants who contributed to national civilization or Chinese history. Now Shanghai city guardian temple is also known as Yu yuan Garden or Chenghuang Temple, which is a typical Chinese private garden. In the Chinese New Year, Shanghainese will come here to go cross the Nine Corner Bridge, praying for their happiness in the next new year.

    Longhua Temple is one the most traditional Buddhism temple in Shanghai. You will explore the Chinese Han Buddhism temple architecture, understand the localization history of Buddhism which adapted from India to China.
