1. From Reykjavik, we drive to Raufarhólshellir (lava tunnel), where a local guide will tell us all about its spectacular colors and rock formations.
2. After we head to the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula - one of Iceland’s geological gems, a place rich in geothermal energy, seismic activity, and tectonic movements.
3. After we will stop in Grindavik - a town partially damaged by the recent eruption. We’ll take a lunch break and have time to see the newest black lava flow, large cracks in the ground, and the eerie remains of the ghost town.
6. In the end of the day we will make a stop at the Blue Lagoon. You will have time to walk take pictures or enjoy a coffee in the cafe overlooking the blue pool. If you wish, you can take a bath in the warm lagoon while enjoying a drink or put some silica mask over your body. (Entrance tickets are not included in the tour price and must be purchased in advance).
