This 4-hour, small-group tour with an experienced tour guide and a VIP limo mini bus will take you to Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meteora is one of the largest and most significant complexes of orthodox monasteries in Greece. You will have the opportunity to visit all six of the monasteries in this area, exploring the interior inside three of them.

Many centuries ago, on these gigantic rocks reaching heights of close to 2,000 feet, one of the most important monastic communities of Greece was formed. After you’ve picked up in the morning from your hotel in Kalabaka or Kastraki enjoy a comprehensive Meteora half-day tour for 4 hrs, seeing all the area of Meteora, all 6 Holy Monasteries with the chance to visit inside 3 of them. Our expert in the area local, English speaking, Tour Leader will be with you to give you all the information you need about the area, share with you a vast amount of knowledge and he will help you to visualize why and how the first monks managed to establish one of the biggest monastic community in Greece on top of these unique rocks. Transported with comfort and safety, by our luxury air conditioned LIMO VIP Mini Bus towards cliff-top monasteries. Also with plenty of stops to the best viewpoints and with short walks, he will explain to you all the geological phenomena.

- Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. For ladies skirts by the knee or longer are required. No pants for ladies, no shorts, no sleeveless shirt. For men sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee are prohibited.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
