The areas along the Highway 30 corridor and higher elevations of the Central Highlands of Ohio will be impacted by areas of dense fog through sunrise this morning. This west to east area of dense fog is associated with a stalled front that will start to lift northward later this morning as a warm front. Be prepared to slow down as you encounter fog and leave extra distance between vehicles.

...The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers... Hocking River at Enterprise. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Hocking River at Enterprise. * WHEN...From this morning to late Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water spills into Kachemacher Park in Logan and onto low-lying roads near Haydenville Road at some locations along the river. Also, water will be across State Route 93 just south of Logan. Lowland flooding also occurs in Rockbridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EST Thursday the stage was 11.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Lowland flooding can be expected in portions of West Logan, with lowland flooding near Rockbridge. Chieftan Drive and Zeller road along the river are also flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EST Thursday the stage was 12.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.9 feet early Friday morning.
