A relaxed, warm and welcoming hotel, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The atmosphere feels effortless rather than staged, and the people who run it set the tone — genuinely friendly, open, and generous in their hospitality.

The location is as good as it gets: right in the heart of Salzburg, just moments from Salzburg Cathedral, yet slightly tucked away, offering a sense of calm that many central hotels lack. In fact, it feels better placed than even Hotel Sacher Salzburg and others nearby.

Our room was spacious and soothing, and breakfast was abundant and delicious, with fresh fruit, eggs, cheeses, and excellent Brötchen. Each day began on exactly the right note.
