Couples experience at Intercontinental Dhaka

Our overall stay and experience were average at best. While the staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful, the experience itself was not particularly memorable.

The breakfast buffet was acceptable; however, the selection remained the same each morning and lacked the freshness and variety I have experienced at other hotels. Dinner was mediocre. Although the live music created a pleasant ambiance, the food service process was somewhat unusual. Guests were required to stand and select their appetizers, while the main meats were served without being asked how we preferred them cooked, which was disappointing.

The spa was overpriced and lacked adequate staffing. Only one masseuse was available, which made it inconvenient—especially for couples seeking services together.

On a positive note, the hotel provided a quiet, private environment that allowed my partner and me to enjoy the rest and relaxation we needed from our busy schedules. The staff were always available, attentive, and respectful, which is an important factor for me when evaluating a stay. Additionally, although the food selection was limited, the meals were generally delicious and convenient.

Overall, while there were several positive aspects to our stay, there is room for improvement in order to enhance the overall guest experience
