The conduct of the female staff was very upsetting, ruin my 1st day holiday.

In terms of location, Arte Hotel is quite strategic. It is very close to the train station and not too far from the Old Town, a popular spot for tourists.

Cons:

I must express my profound disappointment regarding the conduct of a female receptionist on duty on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. As a frequent visitor to Austria, this was my first trip to Salzburg. Upon check-in, I asked for directions to the "city" area. The staff member pointed toward the Old Town. When I clarified that I was looking for the modern city center or CBD (as distinct from the historic district), she responded in an inappropriately loud and aggressive tone, dismissively stating that the Old Town was the only "city."
I found her demeanor to be highly unprofessional and rude. I strongly recommend that this individual receive additional training in customer service and professional communication to ensure that the reputation of Arte Hotel is not compromised.

In contrast, I would like to commend the male staff member on night duty, as well as the team present the following day, for their polite and professional service.

Furthermore, I was disappointed by the lack of housekeeping. On my second day, the bath towels were not replaced. I had to personally visit the front desk to request fresh ones and was instructed to leave the used towels on the floor. However, by the third day, these towels remained on the floor and were never collected.

Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Το δωμάτιο εξαιρετικό με πολύ ωραία θέα (αξίζει να μείνεις σε πιο ψηλό όροφο). Η σάουνα ήταν μέχρι τις 11μμ οπότε βόλευε να κάνεις στο τέλος της ημέρας. Check in not even minute earlier , broken kettles , no boiled water , toilet separated from shower (shower fully open, always water on the floor) . Hotel staff completely careless to any of your questions/requests , level of cheap 3 star hotel . Lobby is cool with view to train station , but nothing available like coffee or etc

It’s really well located. Close to the train station close to the bus station. 15 minutes walk to the city center. 7 minutes to mirabelle garden.

Absolut kein flexibler Check in! Mussten bis Punkt 15 Uhr in der Lobby warten, es war nicht mal möglich vorher die Rechnung zu bezahlen, bzw. Schlüssel zu haben, um später das Zimmer zu beziehen!
