Room not at all as advertised on the hotel website.
Pros:

We only booked 2 nights at this hotel and were put in the ‘Residenz’ building across the street. Our room looked nothing like the photos on the hotel website and not for the better. It was a much older looking room and the bed sagged in the middle. The towels and toilet paper were pretty rough and the soap was not great quality. We did inform the staff of the bed on checkout and they made note of it to follow up.
There was also no way to control the room temperature as the a/c had been turned off. The heat in the bathroom was on and unadjustable. Had to leave the windows open all day to not sweat all night.
Before booking this hotel we had also shortlisted The Leonardo down the street. Friends of ours stayed there and it was much nicer for a similar room rate. The rooms in the main hotel building may have been better but we wouldn’t know.

Great hotel, highly recommend
Pros:

Great location, between train station, close to old town. The breakfast was amazing, exceeded expectations - many different options. The spa was exquisit, pool, several saunas, lounge beds, calm environment. Staff very friendly. Room was very luxorious, high finishing and we loved the freebies. We felt very welcomed.

Die Angestellten waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer (Superior), sowie das restliche Hotel, waren sauber und ordentlich. Die Hotellounge lädt zum Verweilen ein. Erstklassige Lage.

Cons:

Der Boden im Zimmer war knarrend (laut), ist vermutlich dem Alter geschuldet. Das Frühstück war "nur" in Ordnung. Es hätte etwas mehr Vielfalt bieten können und das Gemüse hätte frischer sein können.

5 Tage Salzburg, alles bestens, wir kommen wieder, wenn möglich ins gleiche Hotel.

Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, Frühstücksraum war sehr gemütlich, die Lage vom Hotel in der Fußgängerzone war super!
Personal war sehr gut, immer hilfsbereit.

Staff unwelcoming, they don’t even greet you when come through the doors. Bed sheets were scratchy, shower with poor flow. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. We very rarely leave negative reviews but we felt this was especially poor and wouldn’t recommend staying here.

War ein sehr schönes Wochenende in Salzburg.

Good location in the centre of Salzburg Old Town
Pros:

Great location for sight-seeing in the centre of Saltzburg. Pool, steam room and sauna a bonus. Our room was in the annexe opposite the main hotel which wasn't ideal. Staff in general were very good. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. Would probably stay there again.

The bar lacked any atmosphere.
Our room was in an annexe on the other side of the street opposite the main hotel.
