Quiet and comfortable hotel in a handy central location
Pros:

Very helpful staff. Room was very quiet and well equipped with plug points - people nowadays want to travel with and charge laptops, mobile phones, etc.. We liked the quirky and immaculate decor.

Cons:

We understood a minimal breakfast was offered and were happy with that. One minor annoyance was that on the 2 days we were there, the coffee machine was broken; a sign indicated filter coffee was available, but the jugs presumably there for the purpose were empty, so there was only hot water with teabags or coffee granules. Disappointing.

The jewel in the crown
Pros:

This is a theme hotel with lovely paintings and modern art at every turn. The staff were always keen to please and have created a happy hotel. We've been across Europe for the last 2 weeks and this is the best hotel we've stayed in 😁

Cons:

Nobody mentioned the huge bier Keller across the river until our last night. 🍻

Das Zimmer war schon um 11.30 fertig. Sehr netter Empfang bei der Ankunft. Ich habe mich gleich wohl gefühlt.

Das Zimmer im 3.
Stock (Dachgeschoss) roch etwas modrig. Die Zimmerbeleuchtung zu düster.
