Not much. Very run down and musty. The location is decent as it’s close to restaurants and the interstate.
A lot. Front desk wasn’t attentive. Dark and musty lobby. Room I booked was dark with a musty and stale smoke smell. King size bed was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs through the mattress. The wall sconce lighting was not warm or inviting. One fluorescent bulb and the other was burned out. I didn’t even end up staying the night there. I booked a different hotel to stay at because the room was that bad.
Great location. A lot of restaurants and shopping nearby.
There is nothing I could think of.
Great breakfast, loved the coffee machine and the staff were great~
Breakfast was fine. The room appeared clean.
The room was small and cramped. The bathroom was small and cramped, too. Plus the paint on the ceiling above the tub was peeling badly. Beyond that, it wasn't bad, but it could be improved a bit.
Close to exit and great restaurants
This morning the water didn’t get hot at 6am. The shower water was cold. I couldn’t figure out how to close the blinds so light shined in all evening.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy bed, good breakfast with hot and cold choices. Quiet.
Location and staff
A good amount of mold in the bathroom
Quick summary: clean, quiet, very comfortable room. All the usual amenities of a BW property. Easy on/off the highway. Only issue is that the tub/shower has only a vertical grab bar.
We were on a road trip from Florida, heading home. We stayed in room 223, which has two very comfy double/queen beds and good pillows.
Good HVAC and complimentary wifi.
Excellent housekeeping.
All the usual BW amenities: pod coffee maker (bring you own tea, if preferred,) fridge but with no freezer compartment, microwave, 2-drawer chest, desk with ergo chair, iron/board, clock radio. I love having that sitting chair, not just a desk chair. (To note: the hotel was nice enough to stash our cooler items and freeze bags in their kitchen area.)
TV with lots of channels (although I'd love a printed TV guide rather than scroll through the channels.)
Tub/shower combination. While I don't mind wall-mounted toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, bath gel,) I find it REALLY annoying when they are mounted to high that you have to get up and down from the tub. Wet hands on porcelain - a litigator's dream. AND there is only a vertical grab bar, not a horizontal one for the tub use.
Sort of a gripe: any tub/shower combination really needs BOTH a horizontal grab bar for tub users (me) and a vertical grab bar for even just using the shower (husband.) As we get older, and my husband recently had back surgery, we appreciate these safety concerns.
Also: it would be nice to have a nightlight in the bathroom. The excellent black-out curtains make the room REALLY dark.
Good complimentary breakfast with hot and cold items: scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, breads/bagels/biscuits, waffle maker, fresh fruit, yogurt. Minor gripe: no real half-and-half - just non-dairy creamers or the milk for cereals.
Easy on and off the highway. A number of restaurants in a short drive.
Friendly, professional staff.
We did not use other amenities such as the pool, etc.
To sum: we'd be happy to stay here again, but hope they'd install that extra grab bar.
Breakfast was excellent and staff was great. Even answering questions about tornado safety because when we stayed, there were warnings and bad weather. The fact that the building was made of a brick structure and very solid. This brought some ease to my mind.
Needed Kleenex in the room. Spiderwebs outside of entrance of room. That should be sprayed down.
everything
nothing
It wasn’t a good location
It was not very clean. There was an actual toenail on the bathroom floor. I think they clean the toilet in the sink and the tub well, but just not the floors.
Location and bed was comfortable
Omg
1st room smelled so bad we had to switch. Second room smelled a bit better although these particular “pet friendly” rooms are VERY beat up!!!!
Would not recommend and neither would our dog.
Not sure how they got a 8 rating on Bookings.
We arrived very late - would have stayed elsewhere if had arrived earlier.
Should be called Best Western Minus! Very dated rooms. Needs remodeling. Very noisy with no security. People running the desk were hard to understand. EV chargers didn't work. Front desk didn't have quarters for laundry room. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay here.
Greeting from staff at the front desk when arrived was exceptional. Had a long day and the Greeting from the front desk was perfect .
