Hotel Casa Real Villa de Leyva

Desatinado y sin tacto las personas de atención y servicio que me contactaron una vez relaicé el check out, el cual realicè con 1 hora y media de antelación mientras desayunaba. Pero me contactan a las 2 horas y media de haber salido y me dicen que manché la cama lo cual no fue verdad. Pedí que me enviaran fotos de las manchas y me mandan las del forro que JAMÁS vi por estar debajo de las sábanas con manchas que no son mías. Me cobran 100 mil por despache pero no es el costo. El la forma en la que un hotel de este valor se le ocurre cobrar por unas manchas que no son mías y que si lo fueran, no eran para hacer un cobro tan miserable de esta forma. Fatal. Terrible. No saben de servicio. No me quiero imaginar el día que una señora en realidad le llegue la regla y les deje una mancha roja de verdad…le cobran la cama. Esto es falta de experiencia cobrar una mancha que ni correspondía a las palabras dichas.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Real. The staff were very attentive, polite and patient with us. We do not speak any Spanish, and the staff did not speak English, but it was easily accommodated by using translation on our phones and texting through What’sApp. As Canadian travellers this hotel seemed very elegantly furnished. The dining facilities and the bar felt like what the luxury hotels of 100 years ago would be like in the best way. There were very few other guests when we stayed there. I think it was the low season.

El personal es amable y se mantuvieron siempre con ganas de ayudar, las instalaciones muy bonitas, practicas y cómodas. La cama muy cómoda, con sabanas de buena calidad.
Por mejorar el desayuno debe ser abierto para elegir y repetir. En general un magnifico lugar. Isabel y Santiago.

An amazing hotel, rooms are spacious and the decoration is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing we didn't like was that for meals, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you have to specify the exact time. As a tourist who wants to disconnect from time, we don't want to adhere to a specific schedule. They should leave the schedule open. For the type of hotel and service, they should NOT impose schedules or rules. This hotel is at a level that can be considered luxurious.

Another thing was that the room keys are attached with a plastic card that obviously wears out with use. Luckily, it opened slightly at the key ring and they charged me Un hotel espectacular, sus habitaciones son amplias y la decoración es perfecta. Recomiendo mucho este hotel.

Lo único que no nos gustó fue que para comer, sea desayuno, almuerzo o comida toca decir la hora exacta. Uno como turista que quiere desconectarse del tiempo no quiere ajustarse a un horario específico. Deberían dejar el horario abierto. Para el tipo de hotel y servicio NO deberían imponer horarios ni reglas. Este hotel está en un nivel que puede llegar a ser de lujo.

Otra cosa fue que las llaves de la habitación están atadas con una tarjeta de plástico que obviamente se desgasta con el uso. Para mi suerte se abrió un poco en la argolla de la llave y me cobraron un extra por que estaba dañada… en serio? Si estoy en un hotel de ese nivel no deberían preocuparse por ese tipo de pequeñeces para molestar el cliente.

Well designed hotel away from all the noise from mayor activities of the plaza.

Best shower I've had in Columbia! Best flushing toilet's. Room had fabulous view. Very clean. Splendid decorations. Felt spoiled. Beds and linens were super comfy. Can't say enough nice things about this place. Highly recommend!

Room was excellent and the service was perfect in every way. Parking is a little bit away from the hotel but is secure.

Great spot on the north end of town. Out of the way, but only a short walk to get to the plaza. Staff was great and very helpful.

They're very keen on security which is good, but does have the downside of someone having to let you in and out of the building every time.

Otherwise, free breakfast was a full breakfast and delicious. Rooms were just as glamorous and clean and the photos suggest, and it's a beautiful hotel overall.
