Location, heated pool, great breakfast buffet
They are doing demolition renovations during the day and very loud, they gave us ear plugs
My stay at the Holiday Inn had both positive and disappointing aspects. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in a pleasant experience. I also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning—it was fresh and a great way to start the day.
However, once I arrived, I discovered that there was ongoing construction on certain floors. Unfortunately, this information was not shared beforehand on the booking site. The noise from the construction—constant knocking and disruptions—made it difficult to relax and fully enjoy my stay. Because of this, I wasn’t able to appreciate the hotel’s atmosphere as much as I had hoped.
Additionally, some amenities were unavailable, including the pool and other facilities, which was disappointing. These were features I had been looking forward to using.
Overall, while the staff and breakfast were highlights, I do wish I had known about the construction ahead of time. I likely would have chosen to wait until it was completed before booking my stay.
Everyone we encountered was most pleasant. Ashley at the front desk was a true GEM!
We enjoyed our stay and will return next time we are in BG.
The staff were wonderful and the bed and room were very nice. I loved that room soaps and body washes as well. Over all very nice experience. I loved the gym as well. The equipment was nice.
It may have more to do with my booking agent but I requested 2 beds and only got one, the breakfast was not what I was hoping for. The premade eggs and biscuit/gravy were awful. But the rest was wonderful. When I booked it I was unaware of the construction. So there was a lot to be desired due to that.
The renovation noise was rough on Monday the 31st of march. The rest of the stay it wasn't terrible. They always finished by 6 p.m. and they didn't start up again until 8 a.m.
This hotel never disappoints, they go out of their way to make your stay memorable.
Attendee a conference at the hotel for three days. My stay was exactly what I needed. Nice clean room, coffee and a conference room to accommodate a lot of people.
The staff & breakfast were excellent. Great location for our events.
We weren't aware that there was construction happening during our stay. The first night there was no shower curtain in the room & had to take a shower without one. Construction noise started at 8 am & was very disruptive to this stay.
Hotel is close to the university. The rooms are clean. The staff are very nice! The price is fair. The hotel is older but under renovation, cannot wait to see it once the renovations are completed! Love having a nice little bar right there on site, on-site store for a quick snack & pool was warm!
The open concept.
Our room was disgusting and it wasn’t what I booked. I had booked a specific room a whole month out and the lady at the desk proceeds to say “oh man, we’re really starting to fill up” and just throws us in a room.
Friendly staff. Beautiful older hotel with gorgeous atrium filled with a variety of plants and channels of water and even a waterfall! Well stocked breakfast buffet and very nice made to order omelettes included! The Top 2 floors are being renovated. We had a lovely day even though it's Under construction.
brd was clean
no hot water in shower tub didnt drain tv kept losing signsal couldnt even watch an entire program guy at desk didnt even seem concerned when told about it
We were there for the Fraternal Order of Eagles 7-State Convention. This is the 3rd year we have attended. Each time it has been a good experience. The Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. The conference room was excellent along with the meeting room. The number one thing I like it you never have to go outside. There is a indoor walk way from the motel to the Convention center. Thank you for hosting our event! We have already booked out next 3 years convention here.
The staff was great again as usual. Sam, the hospitality director took excellent care of me and Damion, fixed the issues with my in room TV.
Staff was very friendly! Rooms are being renovated so I’m sure it will be better after. The room smelled awful and wasn’t very clean.
The hotel is beautiful and the room was clean. Room attendants were quick when we needed them. The rating would be way less if Savannah didn’t save the weekend. We brought our son for his birthday to swim in the indoor pool. We woke up to the pool being closed because the door wouldn’t unlock. She literally called around to surrounding hotels to see if we could use their pools and even went further to call us once they were able to unlock the door. She went above and beyond. Great stay
