We stayed at this hotel through Gate 1. We found the staff friendly, we enjoyed the view of the lake, and the food was good.

My family stayed at this hotel while we were on an intrepid tour of Peru . Our day tour of Lake Titikaka left from the wharf attached to the hotel which was convenient. The hotel is lovely, has very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. The food was excellent at the breakfast buffet. We had a good dinner as well. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is right on the lake with a lovely lawn area to enjoy and admire the lake. During our stay, we had had a waiter whose name is Santiago was extremely attentive. He had a great personality and was eager to ensure we were all happy with our food / stay. He spoke good English and was very friendly and obviously loved his job. I told him the hotel was lucky to have such a great stuff member!

Peaceful hotel by Lake Titicaca with beautiful grounds with wild guinea pigs all over. The have gazebos for everyone to enjoy the view and setting.

During our wonderful 20 days October-November Peru land trip with Passion Monde, a Quebec based tour company that delivers to say the least, we were headed to Machu Picchu. Personally, our minds & hearts were set on that one main goal. We nevertheless enjoyed all the places visited along the way.

Twice we stayed at beautiful Sonesta Hotel on the Lake in Puno, which offered modern & spacious accommodation. We were stunned as we opened the window in our room to gaze at the breathtaking sight of Lake Titicaca at night or early morning (best times to enjoy the spectacular view). Plus the meals were served in the lakefront restaurant. We sailed to Uros floating islands, Amantani & Taquile, right from the pier a few steps from the hotel. So, location was prime indeed!

Service was top-notch too, especially from the kindest frontdesk manager & nice staff. We'd like to bring attention to smiling waitress Yanet in the dining room who took very good care of us. As for the "tiendas", let's say lovely Sol Alpaca associate Marisol helped us pick nice quality souvenirs. Warm thx & Season's Greetings to all.

On the edge of Lake Titicaca, this hotel makes the best of the amazing view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are so welcoming, knowledgeable & helpful there is a wonderful calm & relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant serves a good variety of local & international cuisine… and Hugo makes the most excellent coffees & cocktails. He even makes his own ginger beer so check out his Moscow Mules as well as all the Pisco varieties.

The view is amazing from the restaurant. Additionally they made the best pisco sour we had in Peru and the soup criolla is delicios. Victor's attention was outstanding.

The hotel it’s perfectly nestled on the shores of lake Titicaca. There are guinea pigs roaming freely on the lawn between the hotel and the lake. Large floor to ceiling windows Allie’s you to enjoy the view even when dining inside. The food was very good quality, I had a local Peruvian style steak for one meal and a local fish from the lake the second night.
Since the hotel is out of town it’s quiet, although this does mean you need to get a taxi into town. The taxis are readily available and good value for money. The staff are friendly and Agata’s on hand to offer help, whether that’s a drink by the lakeside or dining suggestions.

The location is great. We were received by friendly staff, tea, beautiful alpacas in the garden.
Victor and Wendy were very attentive during our dinner. Víctor made sure we had everything we needed to be as comfortable as possible. The food was awesome.
We highly recommend this hotel.

A very comfortable 3 star hotel.pur standard lakeside room was great .spacious with an amazing lake view .the bed was very comfortable with lovely linens.the only negative was no heating in the bathroom.
All the staff we wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were very good .we had probably the best caesar salad ever .

Probably one of the nicer/nicest hotels in the Puno area. Is a less than 10 minute taxi ride from the center of Puno and sits right on Lake Titicaca. Beautiful view from the hotel restaurant and bar with also seating outside. Alpacas graze on the grass during the day. The rooms were comfortable enough and there is a heater too that looks like a sound bar. Service was good too! Would consider this place again for return visit.

I had a great experience in the hotel with my friends. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant and Santiago was our waiter both nights and was very attentive and nice.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel: unassuming front facade until you get to see the back area and the rooms overlooking Lake Titicac: breathtaking. Our experience was also enhanced by one of the hotel’s servers Santiago who was very accommodating. He made sure that we were taken care of and went the extra mile to make an already good experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with great views in Puno, Peru. The service is superb. They go above and beyond. I ran out of my meds and they made a way for me to have them. I had an amazing experience with their dedicated staff Santiago, Delmi and Wendy. The housekeepers are also very attentive to our needs. The selection of food is great. I highly recommend this hotel!
