Der Garten direkt am See war super schön auch mit den Lamas und den wilden Hamstern
War für den Preis etwas altmodisch und nicht komfortabel genug, auch das Frühstück war im Vergleich zu den anderen in Peru das schlechteste das wir hatten
Just a gorgeous hotel, the facilities are lovely, clean, very helpful and kind staff, lovely restaurant and highly recommend
I really loved the atmosphere of this hotel. Waking up in the morning and seeing alpacas right outside the window was such a special experience. The breakfast was very abundant and delicious, and the dinner was also very good.
Complain:
This hotel was our first stop in Puno. During the night, I began experiencing a severe headache and altitude sickness symptoms. I contacted the front desk, and they quickly brought oxygen to my room. After using it, I felt better and was able to fall asleep. At the time, I also asked both by phone and in person whether the hotel sold small portable oxygen cans, because I was worried the symptoms might return later. However, the staff did not clearly answer whether they had any available for purchase. Instead, they simply told me to contact the front desk again if I felt worse, and that they could call a doctor if the situation became serious.
About two hours later, around 2:30 AM, I woke up again with an intense headache. I sat in the room for about half an hour trying to endure it, but by 3:00 AM the pain became unbearable. I did not want to wake my sleeping husband and child, so I went downstairs alone to seek help from the front desk.
Unfortunately, the front desk lights were off and no staff members were there. I sat in the lobby drinking hot water and waiting for assistance, but no one appeared for over 30 minutes. I even tried calling out toward the staff room behind the desk, but there was no response. At that point, my husband realized I was missing from the room and called to check on me. He also tried calling the front desk from our room, but nobody answered.
In the end, I could only continue drinking hot water and eventually returned to the room to wait it out alone. I remained awake and uncomfortable until sunrise, when my breathing and symptoms finally started to improve slightly.
Another serious issue happened the following morning during breakfast. The hotel keeps alpacas in the outdoor area near the restaurant. After finishing breakfast, my 5-year-old daughter went over to pet one of the alpacas. Unfortunately, the alpacas were very aggressive, and one of them suddenly attacked my daughter, knocking her to the ground and attempting to step on her. I immediately ran out from the restaurant and pulled my child away from the animal.
At no point were there any safety warnings from the hotel staff, nor were there any signs indicating that the alpacas could be aggressive or dangerous. There were also no staff members supervising the area. Even after my daughter was knocked down by the alpaca, no hotel employee came to assist us or check whether she had been injured. The complete lack of supervision, warning, and response was extremely concerning, especially in an area where children are naturally attracted to the animals.
The staff was really nice. The location was great with view to the lake
It was a bit old and outdated
We arrived at the hotel about 8.30pm and my wife discovered that she was missing her passport. Luis was at the reception and extremely helpful. He helped me by speaking to the guide, Miguel on the Bolivia/Peru Hop bus. He explained that we thought the passport may have been dropped on the bus. He organised with Miguel to contact me when the group continuing to Cusco had finished dinner and he was back in the bus. The passport was found and Luis immediately called a taxi for us to get back into Puno and collect it. He even ran after a taxi when he thought it was leaving without us! He spoke to the taxi driver about waiting for us to collect the passport and return to your hotel. Luis is an invaluable member of your staff to whom we will always be very grateful.
Fabulous staff, stunning location. Also so tranquil away from the noise and traffic. The gardens were lovely and it was such a treat seeing wild Guinea Pigs running around and the Alpacas in the grounds as well as bring on the shore of beautiful Lake Titicaca.
Difficult to adjust the heat control
Pequeno almoco bom.
Localização distante da cidade mas com vista fantastica do lago
Algum barulho de outros clientes no corredor
O hotel e muito bom, com espaços amplos e funcionários gentis.
Carpete no quarto
I really loved the hospitality of Peru and Sonesta Posedas staff. The Inkafe restaurant within the hotel is outright amazing. All the staff have been very helpful and considerate for my requirements. Being a vegetarian - choices can be difficult but staff especially Jose Carlos helped in working with the chef to create some options without meat, shrimp. Thank you so much Jose for your kindness and care. The food was amazing- gave me glimpse of fame of Peruvian cuisine
Excellent customer service and the food was great. Thanks, Santiago, for your attention to details and care.
Excellent food, Excellent service, Beautiful view. A must stop if you're in Puno!
Great attention and flexibility, room large and lux. Attention in restaurant by Santiago exellent!
Trato espectacular. Cócteles muy ricos. Yo soy celíaca y me hicieron un sándwich adaptado. La habitación era amplia.
Almohadas muy blandas. Éramos 4 y no nos dejaron coger una habitación triple con camas dobles.
Friendly staff. Great food
