Such a beautiful tranquil setting on the Lake Titicaca. Great staff who have been over and above helpful.
We especially appreciated the care and attention of Santiago who was always keen to check in on us ( check we were ok with the altitude/ service/ comfort) and to make sure we were having a good time. He also pointed out the outdoor seating areas with the alpacas and guinea pigs wandering freely- so lovely!

A well appointed hotel in a great location on the shore of the lake. The real value of this hotel is the staff. Everyone goes out of their way to help and make feel special. Of note was Elizabeth, she went out of her way to find a fantastic dentist for some emergency dental work. Thanks to her our holiday is back on track.

Beautiful set up. Very professional and friendly staff. From the moment we arrived till departure we felt very welcomed. The dining experience was excellent both at breakfast time as well as dinner. Special mention and thanks to Percy in the restaurant. Karen the hotel manager took the time to chat with us and our hotel experience. Highly recommend it.

Amazing food and service with great views

One of the best hotels I’ve been to in the world. All the workers are very nice but a special shout to Santiago for his excellent service and hard work. The rooms are better than some of the rooms in United States even and spending time with the llamas and nature outside is unbeatable. Definitely stay here if you’re in Puno.

We stayed at this hotel through Gate 1. We found the staff friendly, we enjoyed the view of the lake, and the food was good.

My family stayed at this hotel while we were on an intrepid tour of Peru . Our day tour of Lake Titikaka left from the wharf attached to the hotel which was convenient. The hotel is lovely, has very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. The food was excellent at the breakfast buffet. We had a good dinner as well. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is right on the lake with a lovely lawn area to enjoy and admire the lake. During our stay, we had had a waiter whose name is Santiago was extremely attentive. He had a great personality and was eager to ensure we were all happy with our food / stay. He spoke good English and was very friendly and obviously loved his job. I told him the hotel was lucky to have such a great stuff member!

Peaceful hotel by Lake Titicaca with beautiful grounds with wild guinea pigs all over. The have gazebos for everyone to enjoy the view and setting.

During our wonderful 20 days October-November Peru land trip with Passion Monde, a Quebec based tour company that delivers to say the least, we were headed to Machu Picchu. Personally, our minds & hearts were set on that one main goal. We nevertheless enjoyed all the places visited along the way.

Twice we stayed at beautiful Sonesta Hotel on the Lake in Puno, which offered modern & spacious accommodation. We were stunned as we opened the window in our room to gaze at the breathtaking sight of Lake Titicaca at night or early morning (best times to enjoy the spectacular view). Plus the meals were served in the lakefront restaurant. We sailed to Uros floating islands, Amantani & Taquile, right from the pier a few steps from the hotel. So, location was prime indeed!

Service was top-notch too, especially from the kindest frontdesk manager & nice staff. We'd like to bring attention to smiling waitress Yanet in the dining room who took very good care of us. As for the "tiendas", let's say lovely Sol Alpaca associate Marisol helped us pick nice quality souvenirs. Warm thx & Season's Greetings to all.
