Lasserhof Salzburg

The Lasserhof is an easy walk from the Salzburg train station and from the old town, which was very convenient. One of our rooms was ready a couple of hours early, which was great so that we could drop off our things and get ready for the day. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, for the most part, though one of our "triple" rooms had a cot for the third bed and we had trouble figuring out how to use the shower/bath. The breakfast was a little sparse but fine.

It was fine, a bit noisy being near the front door and stairs. Plumbing system very noisy, unless bathroom door firmly shut.

Clean room, great lightingbj room, the bed was soft, and it was quiet. Overall a great stay.

Basic hotel with ac and had breakfast. 6-10 minutes walking from train station and 10-15 minutes walking to downtown.

Area was close to train station, not too far from restaurants, clean updated old hotel. Easy & safe area to walk around & to enjoy orger area of Salzburger.

Wonderful hotel. Close walk to everything. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Great breakfast and wifi is strong. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

There were spider webs below the table next to the bed. The bed was a joint of 2 single beds where we suffered sleeping as a family with our 3 years old son. Thigs were falling in between them and under the bed was full of dust. The staff was kind, helping, smiling and attending politely any question I had, so I am thanking the staff. Regards.

I couldn’t figure out how to use the safe box

Bathroom stunk. Lights and fan go on automatically but also shut off a few seconds after you leave, or am sitting on the toilet. Our beds were made but bathroom was not cleaned and dirty glasses were left. breakfast seemed poorly organized. One morning there were no glasses for juice, table tops were poorly wiped and there was a toaster but nothing to put in it. Also not a fan of the lack of sheets on the beds.

Spent 2 nights here while visiting Salzburg. Its in the New Town, an easy walk to Mirabell Palace and the old town. Parking is available for a fee in the underground garage just across the street. The room had an odd layout but manageble for 2 people. Breakfast was okay, usual European fare- selection of cheeses, bread, yogurt and also bacon and scrambled eggs.

Great location, right near the train station and a bus stop.

This hotel is in a good location and you can reach the old town in 15 minutes walking. We were just in Salzburg for the weekend and the hotel kindly allowed us to drop our bags early and leave the following day so we could explore. The reception staff were super friendly and even helped us with a dinner reservation. The rooms were clean, the only thing I would change is the pillow.

The hotel has a decent location and is walkable to most things. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom was an issue. It took at least 5 min of running the water to get hot water and the water pressure wasn't great. The worst issue though was the smell. The consistent wafting sewage smell was awful. Due to that factor I would have selected a different hotel.

Checking in was simple. The room were small but nice with a decent size bathroom. They had breakfast if you chose and a sitting area that could be used. Only negatives were the pillows, flat and very uncomfortable and no sustainable hot water. It was warm.
On more positive notes, 10 minute walk to the HBF and 20 minutes to old town and attractions. Luggage can be stored with no problem if you need that service before check in time or after checkout time.
