The hotel itself was in a fantastic location in the Neustadt area of the City, just a few minutes walk from the Mirabell Gardens. Free hot drinks 24/7 was greatly appreciated.
We booked a Junior Suite, but the room we were given did not look like the images on the website at all. Instead we were given a large empty room with very little furniture in it. We picked a suite not only for the luxury, but because it offered a separate desk and seating area as we wanted to spend some extra time in the room catching up on some work.
There was no desk in the room except a small alcove with a stool and a desk lamp near the bathroom door. The lamp had no bulb so we could not use the space, we did request a new bulb at reception on day one of our stay, but unfortunately the request was ignored.
It's worth noting the room strangely gets extremely hot. When we checked in all of the windows were wide open. At night the room reached 26 degrees (early April). Loud street cleaners go down the main street at 5am and due to being next to a church which has bells tolling every 15 minutes from around 5am, you could not have windows open, so sleeping proved difficult. A fan was provided in the room which made some difference.

Location was great! Comfy bed and great coffee machine and cake. Very accommodating to hold our luggage after checkout for a few hours. Helpful staff.

Wir waren schon öfters im Amadeus und kommen immer wieder gerne. Die Lage ist super. Wir mögen die Linzergasse und das Da Renzi. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr nett.
The location was convenient. There is a lift to help with luggage. While there is no breakfast included, there is coffee and tea all day and one croissant with jam each morning, with an option to buy more. During Easter week a few hard-boiled eggs appeared, and there were often apples and in the evening, cake.
The room was large, but barren, with low ceilings, a bare floor, two small area rugs under furniture that were a depressing beige. The photos make the room look elegant, but the curtains are of a rough fabric and were falling off the rod. The windows are small and so the room is dark, though the electric lights are plentiful and bright. The chairs are comfortable, but the covers are unattractive and dark. The church bells did not bother us as we are usually up by 7 in any case, but the loud voice of the manager could be intrusive. The bed was as comfortable as in any other hotel and fortunately there was a small blanket I could use instead of the horrid, hot duvet that is now standard in European hotels it seems. The bathroom was large, clean, and had a tub and a shower. One inconvenience was that the clothes storage area is separated from the bed area by a wall and a nuisance when getting dressed in the morning; however there is plenty of storage available . For half the price, I would have thought it a decent choice, but from the cost and description I expected something really much better.

Location, quality of decor and furnishings, teas/coffee available in (attractive) sitting area 24/7.
Not a problem with the property per se, but if the windows were open at night, we were disturbed by noise from street sweepers /bin collectors very early in the morning. However, this does mean the streets are amazingly clean, and there’s no rubbish! We kept the windows closed after the first night.
Room was spacious, great location, quiet, good view at the rear, clean, friendly reception and staff generally
Breakfast isn’t really provided, it’s a snack, but tea and coffee on tap which is great. I did however know that so wasn’t disappointed
