Ein wunderbar entspannter Aufenthalt in Salzburg
Pros:

Eine tolle Location um die Innenstadt zu erkunden - mitten drin. Das öffentliche Parkhaus war gut erreichbar und sehr nah zum Hotel, aber recht teuer. Es lohnt sich, die Park App vor der Einfahrt herunter zu laden.
Uns hat gut gefallen, dass es ein kleines feines Frühstück mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gab statt eines überteuerten Frühstücksbuffet. Das Haus hat eine schöne Atmosphäre und das Personal war super freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Der Herr bei der Ankunft am Freitag war sehr nett und hat auf Fragen Auskunft erteilt. Auch am Abreisetag, am Sonntag war die Dame in der Rezeption sehr nett.

Am Samstag die Dame in der Rezeption war sehr unfreundlich.
Als wäre ihr alles zu viel.
Sie hat uns recht reserviert und unfreundlich im Frühstücksraum das "seltsame" Frühstück mit dem Hinweis "das kostet ja auch nur .... €" präsentiert. Diese Unfreundlichkeit haben wir bisher in keinem Hotel so erlebt. Wir bezeichnen solche Damen als "Kundenverkrauler".

A good option for sightseeing in Salzburg
Pros:

The hotel is perfectly positioned to explore Salzburg. You walk down a picturesque street and over the bridge to reach the old town (and for us the Opera Festival). We went in the middle of the heatwave and the rooms had no air-conditioning but it was not too hot, and fans were provided for each room. The hotel has a number of communal areas overlooking a beautiful cemetery - the one were Paracelsus is buried. Make sure you go for a walk on a good day. No parking at the hotel, but they direct you to a nearby public car park that was very convenient (however make sure to download the app before going there - the hotel did not tell us about the app but it gives you a big discount)

Cons:

My main bugbear with this room was that we asked for the two bedroom apartment, but the design means you have to walk through the one bedroom to reach the other one. This wasn't great for the person with that room. Also there was no lock on the bathroom door, even though it had doors to both bedrooms. Pretty basic stuff. The hotel staff were a bit 'German' - by which I mean a bit short/blunt/lacking the soft touch one might expect when being welcomed. Prices were jacked up due to the Opera Festival and the UEFA Super Cup unfortunately. Could have done with free water being provided in the rooms, and a fridge.

It was a very bad experience. I regret going there.

The lobby, the location.

Cons:

There was a terrible smell in the bathroom (perhaps Cockroach insecticide). I could hardly stay there.
It was hot. When leaving the windows open, I could hear trucks early in the morning as well as bell rings. The room was small.

La posizione

Cons:

Assenza di aria condizionata. La camera era rimasta chiusa da ore ed era caldissima.
Abbiamo dovuto dormire con le finestre aperte con le persone nei locali notturni letteralmente a pochi metri da noi. Non esiste frigobar che è inaccettabile in una struttura a 4 stelle.
Aprendo la finestra dietro il letto, si è completamente disfatto in pezzi: non era un letto ma una serie di pezzi assemblati!
Nell’ hotel in assenza della reception (chiude alle 18) non era disponibile nemmeno un bicchiere d acqua.
Per qualunque problema bisogna rifare riferimento alla reception dell’hotel principale che è a diverse centinaia di metri e si può parlarci soltanto tramite un citofono, altrimenti bisogna recarsi fisicamente nell’altro hotel.
La colazione, se così si può chiamare, si svolge in alcune stanze sotto le camere da letto.
La colazione era allestita con pochi panini e poche brioche: può essere considerata questa la colazione di un 4 stelle? Vedi le foto

chambre non climatisée et par temps de fortes chaleurs elle devient étouffante véritable bouilloire thermique . En plus chambre donnant sur rue extrêmement bruyante si on veut chercher un semblant de fraicheur.
