At the entrance to the Kaigasse (the beginning of the pedestrian zone), there is a barrier. Please press the corresponding button for the hotel on the column on the left side. You will receive a code via the intercom, which you have to enter into the barrier to be allowed to enter.

Понятно, что в старинном здании нет кондиционера. Но номер был снабжен невозможно шумным вентилятором, хотя есть современные мощные и бесшумные. Завтрак достаточен по разнообразию, однако персонал плохо следит за тем, чтобы вовремя пополнять блюда. Расположение буфета с блюдами очень неудобное, тесно.

Pros:

Ubytování v centru města. Personál na recepci velmi vstřícný. Velmi dobrá snídaně v ceně. Možnost parkování v blízkosti hotelu. Pokoje čisté s výhledem na pevnost na jedné straně a na druhé směr k řece. Klimatizace v jednom pokoji a ve druhém, cestou po schodech byl větrák. Jinak by bylo v pokojích teplo.

Cons:

Vjezd k hotelu přes kód, který vám recepce sdělí při vjezdu před vyjíždějícím kuželem např. na Kajetanerplatz, ale vzhledem k tomu, že jsme chtěli bydlet co nejblíž hotelu a zaparkovat, tak úplně v pořádku. Cena parkovného byla 25 Eur.

Perfect hotel in the middle of the old town
Pros:

Perfect location in the old town with a privat parking place. The building is beautiful, and the oldest cinema beneath the hotel is a real gem. The breakfast was also very well taken care of. Big rooms and perfect beds.

Pros:

Die Lage in der Stadt und die authentische Einfachheit des historischen Gebäudes, das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und für den Preis (Budget Room) hinreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Frühstück war gut, eine Terrasse vorhanden, insgesamt ideal für Altstadtfans. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr hilfsbereit, der Parkplatz war optimal.

O locatie unica!
Pros:

Hotel in centrul istoric, aproape de toate obiectivele principale de vazut, intr o locatie unica, un amestec reusit de vechi si nou, curat si bine inttetinut, personal foarte amabil si comunicativ, mereu zambitor, mic dejun delicios, cafea buna, loc de parcare la 50 m.

Cons:

Fiind in centrul istoric, nu are aer conditionat, doar ventilator. Poate ar fi binevenit si un mini frigider. Daca ai camera pe partea cu strada si lasi geamul deschis, vei fi trezit la ora 5 dimineata, de cei care fac curat pe strada, strang tomberoanele de gunoi, aduc marfa.

Enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t return.
Pros:

Great location in an historic building in beautiful Salzburg. The trattoria attached is absolutely delicious and the staff are really friendly.

Cons:

It’s a little tired, carpets and doors need replacing. We asked for our room to be cleaned and it wasn’t - made the beds but didn’t clean anything or change towels etc. Also dirty coffee cups were not taken away. It’s also really noisy! Not that the hotel can do anything about rubbish trucks etc but it’s a point to note if you’re a light sleeper.
