Magnifique hôtel mais je ne reviendrai pas!
Pros:

L'hôtel est magnifique.
Beaucoup de choix pour le petit déjeuner et le buffet du soir est super bon.

Cons:

La moitié du personnel n'était pas chaleureux.
La table est débarrassé trop rapidement, de plus les bouteilles d'eau sont payantes si vous êtes en demi pension, vous n'avez pas droit au bouteille gratuite. Ce qui est mon sens n'est pas logique car on reçoit des bouteilles d'eau gratuite dans les chambres tout les jours.
La propreté des chambres laisse à désirer.
Dommage, pas grand chose aux alentours.

Pros:

Le personnel service restauration et accueil vraiment aimable sauf les managers qui parlent très mal aux employés ce qui laisse paraître une ambiance assez lourde.

Cons:

Le qualité/prix à revoir surtout pour un 4 étoiles
Un petit coup de neuf me ferait pas de mal.
Odeur d’égout terrible dans la salle de bain
Insonorisation zéro
Buffet du soir laisse à désirer pour 40e par personne

Séjour parfait pour une première fois sur l’île Maurice.
Pros:

La propreté, la diversité des repas et surtout la courtoisie l’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel de l’hôtel que ce soit à la réception, les cuisiniers, barmaid et les animateurs ( Jean Daniel, Adel, Adel, Sabrina…) et surtout par dessus tout notre chambre la D142 bien localisé ( si nous revenons, nous voudrions la même). L’emplacement de l’hôtel.

Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé, il faut traverser une rue pour être sûr la plage. Par contre l'isolation des chambres vis a vis des autres logements est inexistante.
Le personnel est super .

Pros:

Overall wonderful experience. Staff looked after us well, good facilities, very close to the beach, on site restaurant was lovely too and overall location was good if you wsnt to experience northern Mauritius. Had the odd flies/ants in the bathroom but thats expected of any hotel in a tropical island.

Très bon petit déjeuné.

Cons:

Concernant notre première chambre, trop de bruit la nuit a cause des blocs climatiseurs et les rideaux de la chambre qui n'était pas assez occultants.

Great place, will be back
Pros:

Nice hotel with a nice beach. I like the room, staff, food, service and the beach all. They even offer free watersports activities at the beach. It has probably one of the best beaches in Mauritius and you don't have to rush to get a sunbed, there is always one available. We will be back to Casu if we come back to Mauritius.

Cons:

All beautiful and nice.

Adequate
Pros:

Well located across the street from Trou aux Biches beach. The two bedroom family bungalow was comfortable and spacious, and we could not hear the party noise with the air conditioners on during the night. This was not a luxury experience, but was an adequate base for exploring the island.

Cons:

We stayed during the Easter holiday, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt that some of these issues wouldn't have happened during a non-holiday time. The dining area was overcrowded and buffet dishes would run out and not be quickly replaced, resulting in stressful meals. An ordered drink never arrived. Staff weren't overly friendly or flexible (I asked the concierge if we could have our half board meal the next day be lunch instead of dinner, and was directed to go myself to the restaurant manager to ask, and when I got to the restaurant and found the manager, he said he had to ask HIS manager and I should come back in another hour to ask again... we ended up just giving up and skipping the meal that day). No one seemed to know much information about snorkel trips and we ended up on a boat that could not go beyond the reef (most of the coral inside the reef is bleached), which we weren't told until we were on the boat. One bedroom had a newer air conditioner that worked very well, but the one in the children's bedroom was old and leaked a lot of water on my child's pillow during the night and made continuous creaking noises, causing poor sleep. We had to ask several different staff before someone came to fix it, and it had the same problems after they did "fix" it. All lounge chairs are removed from the beach immediately when the sun drops below the horizon - we probably would have liked to linger a bit longer, but were asked to surrender our chairs. Both pool areas were crowded and it was competitive to get a lounge chair there. All in all it just didn't feel very vacation-y or relaxing.

Pros:

V good breakfast buffet

Cons:

If you want dinner but you’re not on the all inclusive rate, it’s very expensive (R2,000-2,500) for what you get.

Pros:

Lovely staff from gardening - cleaning and waiters
relatively options for vegetarians
Plenty of sun beds
Good salad options - plenty of choices of food

Cons:

They did not have enough coeliac options no bread - pasta or cereal
Not enough fruit options
Could of had more vegetarian options

On arrival they had no idea about our booking on booking.com - so we had a hour delay getting our room ready for our stay

Pros:

The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, the staff was helpful, the food was so good. I like the swimming pool a lot. A big thank you to an exceptional staff especially Mr Shiva who transformed our stay from the best to the most memorable event.

A TRUE REVIEW - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Pros:

What can I say, i do not usually write reviews but i had to for this one, i booked a really expensive 5* hotel in Mauritius using the Hotel.com app and our experience was so bad we was left stranded at the middle of the night.

Luckily this hotel was free and taken us in, now i was on my honeymoon and it was a disaster from the start but the manager at this property was a ray of sunshine. His name was Ashley - he was understanding, caring and went that extra mile to make our stay great. I could not thank him enough.

He upgraded us to a honeymoon suite and helped us book a car rental - he made sure we had one. He was literally a gem! i cannot express how attentive and nice the staff was, they was all so lovely. From having a disaster of a time to then coming here was amazing.

you made our holiday special thank you!
