Absolute shambles of a hotel. The bedding was dirty, hygiene standards were appalling, and the food was genuinely disgusting. On top of that, the staff were rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. We even saw cockroaches on food surfaces, which says it all. Expect long queues just to get something to eat as well.
The pictures are completely misleading — what you see online is not what you get. We only lasted one night and checked out the next day.
Avoid this place at all costs. It is definitely not worth it !!!
Great Stay – Comfortable and Good Value (March 29 to April 2)
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, especially in terms of comfort and service quality.
Pros:
- Clean and modern room, very comfortable from the moment of arrival.
- Food was varied and tasty, with a strong presence of traditional Tunisian dishes. Fresh fish was available daily with different options.
- The kitchen staff were efficient and proactive, stepping in to manage and reduce waiting time.
- Clean and heated indoor pool, ideal given the unstable weather during my stay.
- The outdoor pool is excellent and enjoyable.
- Beautiful beachfront location, which really enhances the overall experience.
- Good location, close to Abu Jaafar promenade, making it easy to go out and explore.
- Free bottled water available at the bar for All Inclusive.
- Very attractive price, especially with discounts – great value for money.
- Wi-Fi is good in common areas but weaker inside the rooms (6 floor)
- The hotel seems more suitable for couples and adults looking for a calm and relaxing stay. Families with children might prefer larger resorts
Conclusion:
A very good option for those seeking comfort, good food, and a nice seaside location at a reasonable price, especially outside peak season.
Hotel is very good , nice warm welcome in reception.
Amazing staff members made the holiday, top people with great attitude, chico , speedy, max and Mike,
And big love and respect for momo the coach of the gym ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
When we booked our vacation, I was skeptical. There were a lot of negative comments, but overall, it was 3.5 stars. I went and saw what it was like for 6 days, and that's how I got back. Please don't read the crap about the food not being good, etc. The rooms are of a good standard, certainly better than in Egypt. The food is delicious. There's nothing missing. If you're craving fish, there's beef, there's chicken, there's kebab. All salads are available. For breakfast, there's a choice from sausages to beans to cereals. You can also enjoy Tunisian delicacies. Everything is delicious and flavorful. The waiters are very nice, no problems. The pool inside a buiding is clean , not green, as someone wrote. It has lights in the water that change color. There's a board on the side with the water temperature and water info cleanliness. The gym is good, and there is a guy who cleans it straight away after use . Women's clean rooms good every day unless you want them to not disturb . The outdoor pools are cleaned too with net to pick any rubbish and underwater hoover , I've seen this . Please don't be fooled by reviews, as half of them are untrue. A very nice hotel with a great selection of food and a drink bar always ready.all staff from waiters to guys from bar and cleaners are good friendly people . Never had a problem with them. For sure will come back there at some point
I do not recommend to stay there if you looking for stress free break: Place do not maintain basic food hygiene standards! We have found a bug in the food.Reception and kitchen stuff including chef was informed but no action taken. They were all acting ignorant.
In addition to above hotel is full of old fashioned foreigners. I've been verbally abused in All one bar at the Rhiad Palms premises for wearing shorts. Police was involved.
Reception staff was extremely unprofessional and ignorant of the way how whole situation was handled:they refused to provide any info while police took my partner to the station so I've decided to make my way to the police station, then 1 of the hotel security guard decided to come with me which wasn't necessary, however I do appreciate that.
At this stage seems like local bar guests has more rights than hotel guests.
Due to all above, risk of food poisoning and safety concerns, I've decided to terminate my stay to 2 days. Deeply disappointed.
If you're expecting the Ritz book somewhere else, if you don't mind Fawlty Towers ish or have reasonable expectations this is worth the visit. 3rd time in Tunisia 1st in Sousse. For us it was affordable for many on the cheaper end. Staff were all amazing 👏 The gentleman who tended to the pool was super friendly as were most of the staff. Bearing in mind ir was Ramadan the food was plentiful. There were plenty of stations that cooked to order. Omelette, fried egg and pancakes at breakfast with fruit cereals pastries etc. Lunch was the same spring rolls paella spaghetti bol etc. If you're a fussy eater and can't find anything you like there is an American cash bar. Food inside is stunning and extremely cheap for what you get. We would stay here again. If you look for faults you'll find them. Torrential rain knocked out all but one lift and the lights in reception but with a bit of patience and understanding you can still have a great time. Our room although a bit dated was clean and everything we needed to sleep in. The balcony was huge and a great place to sit and admire the view. 24hr shop next door has food, essentials(aftersun) and souvenirs. If you require a coffee 1st thing take your own kettle. Only thing we wish we had done differently.
amazing hotel with a brilliant staff ! great atmosphere and an even better entertainment team providing a great time making the stay fun and always friendly! Love all the show the entertainment team provide always something different each night and they know how to involve everyone around altogether a great vibe!!
I’ve now stayed at this hotel three times, and it just keeps getting better every visit. One of the highlights for me is definitely the bar — the atmosphere is always lively, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The staff create such a great vibe, and it’s a lovely place to unwind or socialise.
The entertainment has been absolutely amazing every time I’ve stayed here. There’s such a great variety of shows and activities, so there’s always something to look forward to in the evenings. The entertainment team are full of energy and really know how to engage everyone, making sure guests feel involved and have a good time. Whether it’s live music, performances, or interactive games, the quality is consistently high and never feels repetitive.
What I love most is how they create such a fun and inclusive atmosphere — it’s perfect whether you want to sit back and enjoy the show or join in and be part of it. The effort they put in really makes a difference and turns a normal night into something memorable.
I’ll definitely be coming back again — it’s become one of my favourite places to stay!
I had a really lovely stay at this hotel in Sousse. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy.
The bar had a great atmosphere with nice drinks, and the restaurant offered a good variety of fresh food every day.
The entertainment team were amazing – very fun and engaging, with activities during the day and great shows in the evening.
Overall, the atmosphere was perfect, both relaxing and lively. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!
This hotel reminded me of those Soviet-era hotels for the politcally well-off. Chandeliers! Marble floors! Two pools! The beach right there! (Security everywhere, as usual in Tunisia). But the USSR is ancient history, and any remaining hotels have to carry on without the lavish budget.
The staff are (mostly) terrific. The activities team really work hard, as do all the cleaners and the kitchen staff. The basic ingredients all remain. But somehow, a lot fails to gell. Lifts that are clearly overworked and underpaid. An evening dinner free-for-all that the (too few) waiters present just surf across, rather than engaging with. A basic indoor pool area at 25 degrees which really needs a solid refurb and redesign. A bathroom with no basin plug, one somewhat anxious cockroach and a rather venerable toilet.
Enough still works to make it a basically positive holiday experience. And it has its own natural charm. But it would be good to see this rather creaking hotel spend some money and time making it truly a modern 4-star destination.
We have had the very best week at this hotel, food was fresh cooked and enough to have a choice, drinks were lovely and the staff nothing but accommodating. Hotel was clean the beach is beautiful and had everything you could need or want. The rooms were huge! We had sea view and it was just spectacular to wake up to. For the price we paid we could not believe how much we got!
A huge shout out to Ayoub L in the restaurant, he was our waiter all week and he is an asset to the hotel! We are so very thankful for all his help this week.
Entertainment team were really friendly and accommodating with our little boy. Spa was really lovely and the couple of days we had windy weather the indoor pool was a great hit!
Location was fine not to far from main part hotel staff cleaners lovely entertainment hound you and you caint sit by the pool with out been hounded by tour people wanting you to go on trips room was dated but managed it food was was very very bad nothing good at all when you go out the hotel In to town please watch out me and my mum was nearly kidnapped no joke we got out of the situation thank god men will come up and say they work at the hotel when they don’t this one man took us to a coffe shop then to a friends clothes shop we was made to buy stuff as we didn’t have enough on us in cash he took us back to our hotel to get more cash soon as we got in the hotel the manger seen us and how distraught we looked so we explained what went on said about this so called man working at the hotel the manger said no such man works here so thankfully the manger sorted this sittuion out for us please please be careful and if you go on trips like the boat trip you pay for drinks and photo also same with the caramel ride if you go to this hotel only do self catering as explained the food was not good at all and some of the chefs are very rude ignoring the English at times and serving only there own oh also drinks selection very poor
So, what they don’t tell you is you are sharing the hotel with locals who require accommodation for work, around 200-300 or so, who arrive on buses 3 times a day.
so when you walk down the corridor to your room, locals are also using the same hallway. Not a problem, but scary, as the same rules do not apply.. the bar in the hotel accommodates locals so at night, the bar is full of locals and requires bouncers. Staff are lovely, but just uneasy when your hotel is a hostel for locals.. shame
Amazing hotel. Nice service, clean rooms ans good food. Definitely we will come back again.Thank you
We stayed for 5 nights, we had plentiful food, a clean room and friendly staff. This is what we hope for on a AI holiday. The entertainment staff were great. We did not feel hounded by reps in the hotel. The hotel is a little dated in areas but clean throughout. Drinks are strong! It is not a perfect hotel, but we did not pay for a perfect hotel, we paid a fair price and the quality exceeded what we were expecting. Take a bus, use a train (that was an experience but what do you expect for 1 dinar). Special Mention to our evening drinking mate, the Tunisian Rep, who spoke better English than me!
