Lovely surprise to find such good swimming/spa and health facilities. THANKYOU
Pros:

Fabulous spa….HUGE swimming pool with Thalassotherapy spa attached. One of the best spa’s I’ve visited and as I’m swimmer I was delighted with the lap pool.

The rooms were super comfy and I slept like a baby.

The staff were all delightful, especially lady on spa desk (they give you delicious apple tea). Also I want to say a BIG thank you to the housekeeping staff. I left my silk pillowcases and my hot water bottle behind and they very kindly returned them, pillowcases all washed and ironed 😘

Cons:

Sadly there were no spa treatments available, possibly due to the time of year and the hotel was a little further out of town that I’d thought.

Cons:

Not a 5 star hotel at all. It is obvious that there has been no renovation for a long time. At the Welcome Gift they gave a very small cookie, it looks more like an insult, it is better not to give it at all. During booking, there was no clear explanation that the reservation was without breakfast (what is strange for booking.com), it became clear only during check-in at the hotel. For the tourist tax, for some unclear reason hotel took more money than was stated at booking.com. If you consider the hotel as 3-4 stars, then in principle everything will be fine. But where 5 stars come from is sincerely unclear!

Cons:

Total disaster with a WiFi network. Opened. Without security but this was really don’t need because transfer under critical. Not useful.

Pros:

The room was extremely spacious. The baby coth that was provided was valuable and met needs. Though it was quite low. The ambience of the hotel was great as well.

Cons:

Well would be great if appropriate plan is put in place around meal times for guest. This part of the experience was extremely disappointing and ruined the positive experience had. Though staff were remorseful of the situation in moment but there was no follow up.  I do believe we were checked into a smoking room as the room did smell like cigarette and i had advised that i did not want a smoking room.


Further disappointment

On the third night, 3 set of guests were put together to have dinner as other seats had been reserved. Not many are happy sitting next to other strangers. I had my baby on the trip and i was avoding a situation of him being disruptive. On this particular night i then refused and my family and i  were moved to the lobby to order anything we wanted and cost would be on the hotel. Upon being moved, Whilst at the lobby and had inquired about a particular meal, the lobby staff then advised that we could only have specific meals as we would have to pay for anything else that we eat. Just to avoid complication, we left and traveled outside the hotel to have dinner. I was disappointed more being a nursing mother and still breastfeeding.


At this point only one staff seemed to have cared and was remorseful about the situation. Considering i have been to so many IHG hotels, this was definitely below my expectations.

To avoid a repeat of what had occurred,we decided to eat out the following night which makes it 2 nights of no dinner.

Which is unfair considering we had paid for dinner.

From day 1 of arriving, the restsurant was unaccessible to guests due to multiple events that were taking place (every single night) and the conference hall was temporarily being used to serve dinner. Still several tables were still reserved and unaccessible. Other guests were then being force to sit together on a round table with 10 sittings.

Great accomodation, but do not eat there
Pros:

The accomodation was very good, clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and they even had the curtesy to change my room from a twin to a king-size double bed for free.

Cons:

The bar and food was horrible. Food was like the cheapest hamburger joint you can think off and even a little bit off. The bar took forever to bring our orders and they closed at 10p.m which is very unusual. At least the recepsionist can give you a bottle of water if you need it in the middle of the night, but here no.
