The hotel itself was really nice and so were the staff, just there isn’t alot to do in Mauritius in general
Pros:

The property looked pretty and was aesthetically pleasing.

Cons:

Staff weren’t clear about things. I booked to have a dinner by the beach but it wasn’t mentioned to me that they booked it as something else. I only found out the day when I was ready to attend my dinner.
They did try to be somewhat accommodating

I loved my stay at Luxe Grand Gaube.
Pros:

The accomodation is stunning with breathtaking views.
The staff were unbelievable and made our stay absolutely memorable.
They had become more like family by the end of the trip.
Veerju Head of House keeping was meticulous about cleanliness and cared about maintaining great standards.
Ashwin (waiter) and Veena (kitchen catering) were absolute stars and made our time at breakfast super memorable.
Tisha makes phenomenal coffees and treated my kids like royalty! They still ask about her.
Dinesh from the Spa facilities was an a darling and treated us with such care!
So many more people to mention, but overall - we are coming back... not just because the accomodation was great but because the staff employed make it even better!

Pros:

The room overlooked a great view, the staff were very nice, the food was great, and we had everthing we need, we will definitely come back again!

Cons:

The only disadvantage we had is that the shower room was exposed partially to the beach where people passing nearby can see it.

We had a wonderful stay at Lux Grand Gaube!
Pros:

Vast property with 2-3 amazing restaurants. The 2 bedroom villa was stunning! Absolutely loved the breakfast and the complimentary coffee bar during breakfast hours with an amazing drinks selection! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The beach area was more like a cove/bay - relatively small compared to other beach resorts we went to in Mauritius and the bed of the sea was quite seaweedy. The pool is a bit dated along with the beach loungers that need to be upgraded.

تم طلب ترقية الحجز بمبلغ 360 يورو ويتم السماح بالعشاء في ال 6 مطاعم في المنتجع وفي اثناء تسجيل الخروج قدموا فاتورة تسديد قيمك عشاء وافادو ان هذا المطعم لايشمله المبلغ علماً ان الموظفه اثناء تقديم العرض قالت ان الترقية تشمل جميع ال6 مطاعم الموجودة فالمنتجع وبعد النقاش معهم قالو سوف نخصم 20٪؜ فقط وكانهم يطلبون دفع المبلغ بالاجبار
